The Anger Family, Rain, Trains, and Breaking the Law

This is the Anger Family! They are one of my favorite families to shoot. I've shot this family 3 times in the last 4 years and each time is amazing and memorable. The first time we shot in Fillmore at a random orange grove in which the sherrifs were called because there was a concern that we might be stealing oranges :) The next time we shot a this awesome grassy field in Somas - we didn't break any laws that time - thank goodness. This time, we didn't get into trouble with the sheriffs, but I was told by a fellow photog that it's illegal to shoot on train tracks. It always seems to be an adventure with this family and they always take it in stride. Additionally, they are amazingly photogenic and so easy to work with that I consistently end up with work that belongs on giant canvas's! I just love how these images look like something shot somewhere in Europe (although I've never been). Can't wait to see what happens next year!
